Description

We are seeking physically fit and reliable CSCS Skilled Labourers for an upcoming industrial project focused on the large-scale dismantling and decommissioning of warehouse racking systems in Manchester area. This role requires efficiency, a strong focus on site safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Dismantling: Safely stripping down industrial pallet racking, shelving, and mezzanine structures using hand and power tools (impact drivers, wrenches, etc.).

  • Material Handling: Sorting, stacking, and bundling dismantled components (uprights, beams, and bracing) for transport or recycling.

  • Site Safety: Following strict RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to ensure the safety of yourself and others in a high-activity industrial environment.

  • Waste Management: Clearing debris and ensuring the work area remains organized and free of hazards.

  • Assistance: Supporting specialist installers and site supervisors with general laboring tasks as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid CSCS Card: (Green Labourer or Blue Skilled Worker) is mandatory.

  • Experience: Proven experience in industrial laboring, ideally specifically with racking installation or dismantling.

  • Tools: Must be proficient in using basic hand tools and battery-operated power tools.
