Housekeeping Assistant, Painswick

Location: Richmond Villages Painswick, Stroud Road, Gloucestershire, GL6 6UL

Pay: £12.90 per hour

Type: Permanent, part‑time (20 hours per week) with flexible shift patterns 9am–2pm or 9.30am–2.30pm, alternate weekends.

• Ensuring that our residents’ care home facilities, public areas and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards
• Operating vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers
• Emptying bins regularly
• Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors
• Cleaning carpets and upholstery and washing woodwork, windows, door panels and sills
• Washing, drying and ironing residents’ clothing, bedding and communal laundry, including for our on‑site care home residents
• Reporting all safety hazards to management, ensuring Health and Safety standards and COSHH are adhered to at all times

You will ideally bring experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, along with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH and compliance standards. You are friendly, approachable, detail‑oriented, and possess strong communication skills for teamwork across functions and services.
