About the Role - Trainee Teaching Assistant

• Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or 1:1
• Helping staff with day-to-day classroom activities
• Supporting behaviour and engagement in learning
• Adapting to different routines and school environments
• Building confidence working with children and young people

Trainee Teaching Assistant Training Programme

Before and during your placement as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll complete practical training including:

• Safeguarding
• Behaviour management
• Introduction to being a Teaching Assistant
• SEND awareness

Full support is provided throughout your journey as a Trainee Teaching Assistant.
