You?ll also contribute to the improvement of our existing products.  In this important role, you will:  - Develop new food products and contribute your ideas  - Create, finalise and manage internal recipes  - Ensure that products are safe and of the highest standard  - Communicate launch progressions, product tastings and development activities to stakeholders - Carry out water activity tests, as well as PH, salt and other chemical tests when required  - Complete NPD paperwork  About You To join us as a New Product Development Technologist, you?ll need:  - Experience in new product development  - Previous experience of practical factory operations and product development trials and an understanding of the impact this will have on the critical path - Cooking skills and HACCP knowledge  - A good understanding of product shelf life, microbiology and food quality - An understanding of mass production techniques and machinery  - Good IT skills - A passion for food  - A degree (or equivalent) in food science, nutrition or product development  Other organisations may call this role NPD Technologist, Food Development Technologist, Food Product Technologist, Product Development Technologist, or NPD Technician.  Webrecruit and Moguntia Food Group are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
