Health and Personal Care Assistant, East Midlands

Brackenfield School is hiring a Personal Health Care Assistant to support the personal, intimate, and health care needs of pupils across the school. This role is part of the Children’s Services team, reporting to the Health and Personal Care Manager. Opening closes 03 June 2026.

• Provide personal and intimate care to pupils aged 3 to 19 with communication or cognition needs.
• Follow systems and procedures to ensure health, first aid, and intimate care needs are met.
• Support pupils in developing independent life skills.
• Work collaboratively with the team to promote the school ethos and maintain high expectations.

• Experience in medical or health care environments.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults or young people.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.
• Adaptable team player who can follow procedures and promote the school ethos.
