Highways Design Engineer, Swansea

RSD are currently looking for a Design Engineer designing a number of Active Travel Routes (Walking and Cycling). The design engineer will need to be able to progress both outline design and detailed design of these projects for construction by one of the regional framework contractors either utilising a schedule of rates or mini competition. The person would need to be able to undertake design and production of drawings using AutoCAD, works estimates, contract specification and Bills of Quantity. The individual would need be able to work remotely fom home, unsupervised with online meetings / discussions actioned via Microsoft Teams. We would wish for the individual to start asap and be initially engaged for a 3 month duration which possibly may be extended to the end of the financial year
