Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Swindon

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Swindon Up to £35,000 p/a and further benefits C&D work in partnership with a household name company. They have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this position is to deliver proactive, planned and reactive maintenance on all automated equipment. Job Responsibilities: * Perform PPM and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated equipment, including fault finding and repair * Carry out corrective maintenance duties as requested, promptly escalating any serious problems or failures to aid follow up by our specialist external contractors when required * Work safely at all times to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements The right person will have: * Apprenticeship in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering holding NVQ3/ONC/HNC Engineering qualification * Control engineering experience * Ideally hold 17th / 18th edition certification - preferred but not essential * Electrical understanding including: - PLC systems, 3 phase, 24V control, motors (star/delta), inverter and DOL systems, wiring and relays. * Mechanical engineering working with automated systems.
