Employer Engagement Consultant - Criminal Justice, Swindon

You will be joining a supportive national charity who have won awards for being a great employer (Investors in People / ?Best Companies? award). You will get autonomy to manage your own day. And will be delivering a community development programme that helps ex-offenders get back into employment. Please note: you will be covering the Swindon & Gloucester hubs so you must be flexible with travelling.  You will be working out of a probation centre and will receive referrals from an employment support advisor, who has progressed them, to a point of being ?job ready?. You will be tasked with building up a network of local employers into the area, and talking to them about the benefits of helping ex-offenders into work (there are loads) and at no cost (so you will be delivering the work of an agency, but with a pure ethics focus and no cost to the employer ? win win). You will be comfortable getting on the phone to a local employer you have not spoken to before. And will enjoy one to one coaching and mentoring as you help your clients apply for their own roles.
