2nd Line Infrastructure engineer – Linux, Swindon

A good Infrastructure support engineer is wanted to join a team in Swindon. I am looking for someone with the experience to actively manage and troubleshoot Linux infrastructure, take ownership of the open source monitoring toolset and be on hand for network infrastructure support across multiple platforms for a number of clients when needed. Whilst working alongside a team of intelligent 2nd line engineers who provide network, storage and virtualisation support you will bring Linux skills to the table (preferably RHEL and/or CentOS) and be the ?go to? on Linux support. A great opportunity for someone looking to expand their skills base across more infrastructure. Using scripting languages (e.g. Python and/or Perl) you will preferably have had some exposure to VMware ESX and vCenter and Windows Server 2008/2012. Applicants MUST BE eligible for Security Clearance so will have had to have lived and working in the UK for the last 5 years
