I am currently working with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure client who is building a pipeline of experienced freelance Measurement Quantity Surveyors ahead of increased project demand forecast for 2026.
This is not a single live vacancy. Instead, it is an opportunity for you to be considered for ongoing freelance assignments on a project-by-project basis as requirements arise.
All work is fully remote, offering flexibility across the UK.
 
As Quantity Surveyor, you will:
 
·Carry out detailed measurement work across civil engineering and infrastructure projects
·Work in line with CESMM (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement)
·Produce accurate quantity take-offs and measurement outputs
·Support cost planning and commercial reporting activities
·Ensure high levels of accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards
 
You will need to have:
 
·Extensive experience in civil engineering and infrastructure measurement
·Strong working knowledge of CESMM
·A solid background in UK infrastructure or civil engineering projects
·The ability to work independently in a remote freelance capacity
·Previous consultancy or freelance experience (desirable but not essential)
