You will work within a supportive and dynamic team, managing statutory child protection work and ensuring children are safeguarded in line with legislation and local authority procedures. What you will do

• Manage a caseload of children subject tochild protection plansandcare proceedings, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Undertake assessments under theChildren Act 1989, identifying risk, need, and protective factors.
• Develop, implement, and reviewchild-centred plansto reduce risk and promote positive outcomes.
• Prepare clear, analytical reports forcourt, case conferences, and statutory meetings.
• Work directly with children and families, building meaningful relationships and advocating for children's needs.
• Collaborate effectively with partner agencies including health, education, police, and legal services.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line withDevon County Councilstandards.
• Participate in supervision, training, and reflective practice to continually improve service delivery.
