SEN Teaching Assistant, Telford

ABC teachers are currently looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an excellent school we work with in Telford.  This school supports primary aged students with a variety of needs, mainly Autism and a range of moderate to more severe learning difficulties. The appointed candidate will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, where the role will begin as soon as possible, and be on an ongoing basis with the potential to turn into a permanent role for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing school and play an important part in its development. We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting pupils or individuals with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will be able to build a strong rapport with both students and staff, and able to understand the individual needs of the pupils. All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview.
