Auto Electrician, TF3

We are looking to recruit Auto Electricians to join the team at QI Van Systems to fit and repair electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles. As an Auto Electrician you will need the ability to read electrical wiring plans and you will be involved in Vehicle Preparation and fitting of the electronics equipment. You will also carry out checking and testing of wiring and vehicle parts along with fault finding and rectification work What do I need to do the role? You?ll need to be structured in your approach, well organised and someone who can prioritise effectively. You should also be approachable, excellent at communicating, thorough and methodical. Moderation, consistency and the ability to tie up all the loose ends and finish a job will be of importance, as well as a keen eye for detail. We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas: Previous experience of Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in vehicles Checking and testing of the wiring and vehicle parts Knowledge and experience of electronic systems e.g. Electronic ignitions, alarms immobilisers and tracking devices. Electric windows, mirrors, seats tow bar electrics and air-conditioning. Customised LED or neon lighting kits, parking warning systems and reverse cameras General and Task Management Self-Management Quality & Environmental Ability to hit deadlines is critical Quality focus in the role is paramount Must be able to work on their own initiative and drive performance of other team members
