Renewable Heating Engineer, Thame

Delta T Eco Heating Systems are an evolving and dynamic company specialising in renewable heating solutions, including air source and ground source heat pumps, solar, home batteries and MVHR, across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our projects are a mix of domestic retrofit and new builds, full renovations and bespoke specialist installations.

We’re recruiting for a passionate and experienced Heating Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with heating system installation and servicing, and a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of heating systems including air source heat pumps, hot water cylinders, ground source heat pumps, and associated pipework etc.
• Installation of radiators and underfloor heating
• Installation of electrical heating controls
• Carryout servicing and inspections for heat pumps
• Diagnose and repair faults on heating systems
• Responsible for running own jobs and working as part of a team
• Liaising with customers/clients and suppliers in a professional manner
• Completing work to ensure it meets company and industry standards
• Inspecting, testing and commissioning completed work

Knowledge & Experience:

Most importantly we're looking for someone who is passionate and willing to be part of a great team, so we'd encourage you to apply even if you don't have all the things listed below:

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent) - essential
• L3 Heat Pump (or qualified by experience)
• Extensive experience in plumbing and heating installations
• G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems
• Full UK driving licence

Working Arrangements:

• 7:30am to 4:30pm core hours, Monday to Friday, working across the surrounding areas of Thame (Oxford, Wallingford, Bicester, High Wycombe, Princes Risborough, Beaconsfield, Aylesbury etc.)
• Salary up to £42,000 for experienced candidates. Salary to be discussed depending on level of experience.
