Supply Desk is working in partnership with awelcoming and inclusive primary school in Cuddington, seeking a nurturing and enthusiasticReception Teacherto join their team on afull-time basis from September 2026.

The Role

The Reception year is a vital stage in early development. You will create awarm, engaging, and well-structured classroom environmentwhere children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

You will:

• Create astimulating, play-based environmentaligned with theEYFS framework
• Support children'ssocial, emotional, and academic development
• Encourage early communication skills, independence, and positive learning behaviours
• Observe, assess, and track progress to meet individual needs
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers

The Ideal Candidate

You understand that Reception is about more than teaching-it's about nurturing confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

You will ideally:

• Have experience teachingReception or EYFS, or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• HoldQTS(unqualified teachers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply)
• Bepatient, creative, and engaging
• Demonstrate strong classroom management with anurturing approach
• Thrive as part of asupportive and collaborative team
