SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children?s Learning and Development or equivalent? Do you work well independently and as part of a team? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work for TeacherActive in several schools in the Torbay area supporting students with a variety of additional needs. The schools we work with cover all aspects of SEND education and you would be required to show resilience, compassion, understanding and above all a good knowledge of supporting those with SEND. Due to the nature of the children attending the schools the role will require someone who is adaptable, versatile and able to hit the ground running in a variety of settings. All applicants must be NVQ Level 3 qualified and have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with SEND / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.
