Housekeeper, Artington

An opportunity has arisen for a new housekeeper at Christophers.

The Housekeeper will have day-to-day responsibility of keeping the hospice clean to the required standard. The housekeeper will be based at Christophers, with some holiday cover at the Hampton site, working under the guidance of the Soft Services Manager. The role is predominantly based in Guildford but must be willing to work across both hospices to provide holiday cover as required.

Working with the housekeeping team, you will liaise closely with other staff, volunteers, and supported families to ensure the ambience, hygiene, tidiness, and presentation of the whole hospice is of high quality and complies with all current legislation.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the hospice.
• Support housekeeping team in day‑to‑day operations.
• Provide holiday cover at the Hampton site as needed.
• Work under guidance of the Soft Services Manager.
