Catering and Hospitality position at Queens View Harbour Care Home.

• Salary: £13.78 per hour
• Full-time contract: 35 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• Annual leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full time contract)

As a Chef, you will deliver high‑quality, nutritious, and enjoyable meals that are a key part of daily life. Your cooking will have a real impact, bringing comfort, routine, and enjoyment while supporting overall wellbeing.

You will take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring meals are tailored to individual dietary needs, preferences and nutritional requirements. Maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety, you will consistently deliver meals that residents look forward to each day.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to menu planning, kitchen organisation and smooth day‑to‑day service. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers strong work‑life balance while still allowing you to take pride in producing high‑quality food.

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment
