Healthcare Assistant - Petroc Group Practice, Truro

Petroc Group Practice is seeking a passionate, adaptable, and proactive individual to work under the supervision of the practice nurses in strict accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols.

The HCA role assists the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programs of care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Orient and liaise closely at all levels within the practice team.
• Take responsibility for the care you deliver while remaining accountable to the trained nursing team.
• Maintain clinically accurate records and run clinics.
• Effectively manage own time, workload, and resources.
• Reflect on own and team activities to identify risks, enhance performance, and improve quality of patient care.
• Perform phlebotomy, take blood pressures, record ECGs, and process samples.

Essential:

• Care Certificate.
• NVQ2.

Desirable:

• AMBPs.
• Foot checks.
• Training in EMIS and ICE.
