The market-leading Approved Inspector across England are seeking a Senior Building Control Inspector with private sector experience to join their team in Leeds. Suitable applicants will have initiated RICS/CABE membership, experienced in managing commercial projects from commencement to completion. Starting salary of up to £50,000. Senior Building Control Inspector Responsibilities: To provide site inspections on a variety of developments to check for compliance with regulations and associated legislation Ongoing liaison with Surveyors and Management, along with Clients, Builders and Developers on technical matters to ensure that standards are being maintained and procedures adhered to Completing reports and documentation based on site findings Effectively self-managing workload by forward-planning, in order to provide a responsive, helpful and professional service and utilise time spent on siteSenior Building Control Inspector Requirements: 5 years' relevant experience of plan checking and site inspection encompassing complex/ high rise commercial projects to a senior experience level Up-to-date Regulations knowledge Has ideally operated in a private Building Control capacity Associate/Full member status of RICS/CABE Full UK driving licenceBenefits: Salary up to £50,000 dependent on Senior Building Control Inspector experience, professional member status 29 Days' annual leave Car Allowance/ vehicle Pension scheme Professional fees paid Training and developmentWe aim to respond to suitable candidates within 5 working days.
