Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled games development lecturer to deliver educational and informative games development lessons and act as the colleges subject matter expert for the games aspects of other courses. The candidate will be largely responsible for educating and inspiring the next generation of game developers, game programmers, game designers, and game artists. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about games development and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in games development, the knowledge and experience to teach the more mechanical and theoretical aspects of games and why they work, have experience with Creative Cloud and Unity game engine to create prototypes and have the desire to educate and support student learning within the college. This role is an on-going part-time position, consisting of a MINIMUM of 10 hours per week, however more hours are likely. *A qualification in a relevant subject area *Strong games design and development knowledge *The knowledge and ability to teach the mechanical and theoretical aspects of games and why they work *Experience of using creative cloud and Unity game engine would be a benefit *knowledge of the level 3 UAL games development course *The knowledge and ability to act as subject matter expert for the games aspects of other courses within the college Protocol are the specialist full-service recruiter dedicated to education, training and skills.
