Multi Drop Delivery Driver, Wakefield

We are looking for Delivery Drivers for a well known organisation based on the Wakefield 41 Industrial Park. The roles will start on 1 June and will initially be 7 week contracts. You must have: Minimum C1 licence. Valid licence and driver card. In date DQC card. No more than 6 penalty points.This is required as drivers will need to be able to drive anything up to and including 7.5t vehicles. Job Purpose To deliver customer orders to ensure the customer are in receipt of the correct products in a timely and effective manner. To work within warehouse to ensure the efficient, safe and accurate receipt and movement of stock resulting in the picking, packing and distribution of customer orders to a high quality of service to all customers.To deliver the number of drops assigned to the vehicle route observing road traffic laws and customer availability within hours assigned of that particular working day. Typically ranging between 15 and 30 drops per day. Alternatively undertake the duties of a warehouse operative on occasions when not required to deliver goods or upon completion of deliveriesDuties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting Working hours are Mon-Thurs 06:00-13:30 Fri 06:00-13:00 overtime available.
