Class 1 Drivers, Wednesbury

LGV Class 1 Drivers (NEW PASSES CONSIDERED) As a result of our continued growth our Wednesbury based Logistics company are looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers on a temp to perm basis. FULL TIME POSITIONS OFFERED AFTER SUCESSFUL AGENCY TRIAL Pay, working hours & benefits: Our shifts are over 7 days a week so weekend and bank holiday work will be required We offer an annual salary of £32,000 p/a based on 233 per shifts per year Extra shifts are regularly available The majority of our shifts start late afternoons or early evenings and are 12-13 hours in duration In addition to your pay you will also benefit from: 28 days annual leave A full assessment, induction and training programme with support from one of our skilled driver trainers Subsided on site canteen facilities A smart uniform and all PPE provided free of charge Shifts and rotas planned 1 week in advance A dedicated lead driver / transport manager based on site As one of our HGV class 1 (C+E) drivers you will: Load your vehicle with chilled, ambient and frozen goods to deliver at stores Deliver palletised or caged goods to stores in a HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicle Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift Collect return loads and other items from the store and return to the depot Conduct daily vehicle checks Have a safe and efficient approach to driving You will need: · Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement · NEW PASS DRIVERS CONSIDERED · Digital tachograph & CPC card. · No more than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements. · A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
