Description
We are recruiting a Automation Engineer for a employee owned business in the Aldridge area. The role will involve managing projects from initial conversation to final factory testing and on site commissioning. The Candidate: * PLC & HMI programming experience (mostly Siemens) * Commissioning and validation of your software * Knowledge of industrial communications OPC /Ethernet/profibus/rs485/etc. * Circuit design and validation * Good working knowledge & integration of servo motors & drives / software interfacing * Specifying electrical hardware * Project planning and able to meet deadlines * Experience specifically programming Siemens PLCs and HMI including S7 and S1200 using step 7, TIA Portal and Wincc software * LabVIEW knowledge & programming skills ? Advantageous * Setup & commission servo motors & drives and associated systems & software interfaces - Advantageous On offer is a salary between £25,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience
