PLC Programming Engineer Walsall £30-£35K + pension + holiday Siemens TIA Portal, HMI, PLC programming (90% of the time) with some UK travel (4 weeks a year). My dynamic and fast moving client require a PLC Programmer to work within a busy environment as their order book continues to grow, even throughout lockdown. They are able to offer excellent training and development and are looking for someone with a long term career plan to grow alongside the business. The Role: Primarily PLC programming with electrical design and commissioning. The successful candidate will have a can do attitude and like a wide variety of challenges. Responsible for all aspects of specifying electrical control, hardware and software required to automate special purpose machines, test equipment and process lines. Must have a hands-on approach for all related aspects detailed Required: PLC & HMI programming experience (mostly Siemens) Commissioning and validation of your software Knowledge of industrial communications OPC/Ethernet/profibus/rs485/etc. Circuit design and validation Good working knowledge & integration of servo motors & drives / software interfacing Specifying electrical hardware Project planning and able to meet deadlines If this sounds like something of interest to you then please get in touch or apply below for more information on the role
