Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Early Years, Walsall

£21,605 - £23,437 actual per annum

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027

Caldmore Primary Academy is looking for a Fixed Term Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils. The role involves promoting pupils’ independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion and giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so that they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.

• Assist class teachers in daily lesson delivery.
• Support pupils individually or in small groups to access curriculum content.
• Promote pupils’ independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.
• Encourage pupils to participate in learning and celebrate their achievements.

• GCSE level (including English and Maths grade C/4+).
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• First aid training (or willingness to complete training).
