Early Career Teacher, Walsall

Zest Education is looking for a friendly and committed ECT Teacher to join a supportive primary school in the Walsall area. This is a full‑time, long‑term role, Monday to Friday.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Assess, track, and support pupil progress through feedback and data
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs (e.g. SEN, EAL)
• Work with a mentor and complete training as part of the ECT induction programme
• Contribute to safeguarding, pastoral care, and wider school activities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to keeping children safe
• An enhanced DBS, or willingness to get one
• All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
