Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, Warrington

A Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer role has come available for a well-respected SME Multi-disciplinary consultancy giving you the chance to work directly under the office Director helping to manage and develop the team. As a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, your main responsibilities will surround managing contaminated land and Geotechnical projects from inception through to completion on a technical, commercial and financial basis as well as mentoring / managing teams of junior engineers and assisting on business development. You will have the chance to work on a wide spread of geological projects including residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure. It will be expected as a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer that you can technically lead the delivery of ground investigation design & management, date assessment, interpretive reporting, generic and detailed risk assessments, waste management (CL:AIRE & MMP), remediation option appraisals and remediation strategies. Geotechnical knowledge is beneficial but not essential. Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer specification: The successful applicant should be Chartered with a relevant contaminated land or engineering body, well-rounded Geo-Environmental Engineer with experience in delivering complex contaminated land / Geotechnical projects from phase I through to remediation and validation stages. You should have team management experience along with assisting business development.
