Semi-Skilled Production Operator - Nights, Warrington

We produce high quality Italian ready meals for both Tesco & Co-Op What you'll be doing Our shift pattern is 4 on / 4 off - 17:30-05:30 Due to development and growth, Greencore Warrington are looking to recruit a variety of skilled and semi-skilled positions, we will discuss the options at assessment with you. Pasta Operative The role will involve the accurate set up of pasta machinery and making of mixes, also the running an monitoring of machinery, supplying pasta to the high risk assembly department. Accurate recording and completion of process paperwork is critical to this role along with good communication skills. Weigher Responsible for the batching up of ingredients from a recipe sheet and accurate recording of traceability information. Control of use by dates of materials and recording of issues is a key responsibility of the role. Clean as you go mentality and hygienic practiced are a requirement of this position. Must be able to work unsupervised and have good communication skills. Sauce dropper The role will involve handling of hot liquids with the required PPE. Able to work both alone and part of a team the individual will need to be self-driven to complete tasks within a set time period. The ability to complete critical checks and fill out paperwork accurately is a must for this role. Some cleaning tasks are also required as part of the daily duties. What we?re looking for Educated to GCSE or equivalent, you?ll be computer literate and have some understanding of basic food safety. Previous experience of working within a similar role within food manufacturing would be advantageous. Food Hygiene and health and safety would be extremely beneficial. You will enjoy working as part of a team environment, have good communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
