Temporary Works Engineer, Warrington

Temporary Works Engineer required to join a structural, civil and building engineers company based in Bangor (also with offices for the position in Warrington, Cheshire). The company are continuously growing and now require an enthusiastic Temporary Works Engineer to join their team. Temporary Works Engineer Position Overview Undertake temporary works design calculations in accordance with British Standards / Eurocodes Checking of type 2 / 3 structures Produce temporary works design briefs Produce basic AutoCAD drawings Liaise with Technicians Liaise with clients and team members to ensure designs meet the brief Undertake site checks of temporary works structures when required Temporary work structures typically include; scaffold design (tube and fitting or proprietary), temporary haul roads, crane / piling rig platforms, formwork, temporary propping of overhead structures, design of cofferdams / propped sheet piling. Temporary Works Engineer Position Requirements Good IT skills including basic understanding of AutoCAD and Word Good working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards in design of temporary structures. Good communication skills Driving license Strong attention to detail Excellent organisational skills in order to handle multiple projects at any one time Based within commutable distance of Bangor, Wales or Warrington, Cheshire.
