Chemotherapy Community Nurse, Newton-le-Willows

Leaders in Care are looking for an experienced and compassionate Chemotherapy Nurse based in North West England to join a nationally recognised specialist provider. This community-based role is based across the North West, and your exact place of work will be based on your address. The salary on offer for this chemo nurse job will range up to £30,000 per annum. Working in close partnership with a local hospital and NHS services, you will be mainly focusing on administering Chemotherapy through IV therapy in the comfort of the patient's home. As a Community Nurse, you will oversee a caseload of approximately 3-4 patients per day, providing excellent standards of clinical care. If you were working as a Chemotherapy Nurse last week, here are some of the critical duties you would have taken care of: Taking blood samples from patients Toxicity assessments IV chemotherapy Oral chemotherapyYou'll need to be a natural listener and communicator, with previous chemotherapy nurse experience. Using your empathetic skills and broader nursing experience and healthcare experience, you'll be one of the primary sources of information and advice for patients and their families.
