Early Years Teaching Assistant - Level 2 Cheshire £65 - £70 per day We are currently working with a Primary School in Widnes, who requires an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant with Early Years experience. The ideal candidate will ideally have supported pupils on both a 1:1 and whole class basis. This is an exciting time to be joining the school, as they are looking to expand their ever-growing team of highly committed Teachers and Support Staff. JOB DESCRIPTION * Supporting a Reception child who has an EHCP and little communication skills * The role will require you to support both the teacher and the pupils, as well as being involved in the extra curricular activities of the school * Developing pupils into confident, resilient, self-assured learners with excellent attitudes towards learning * Support all pupils and teaching staff when needed * Teaching and encouraging children to respect each other and themselves * Supporting in EYFS mainly, however KS1 may also be required PERSON SPECIFICATION * Previous experience supporting SEN and EHCP pupils in Early Years and KS1 is essential * Being Team-Teach trained is desirable * Experience with the following ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and MLD * Valid DBS registered with the update service, or be prepared to apply for a new one * Be able to provide references (Work or University based) covering the last two years To be considered for this excellent opportunity, please send an up to date CV to (url removed).
