Surface Mount Technician- Warrington WA3

Cordant People are recruiting for a Surface Mount Technician on behalf of our client based in Warringtion- WA3 area Salary -£24,500PA + Bonus dependant on experience. Hours -Monday- Thursday- 8am - 4:45pm -Friday- 8am - 3:45pm Responsibilities/Tasks - Hand soldering of components to PCB's - Carry out visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products are built to the correct standard - Programming of PCB's using test leads and/or fixtures - Functional Test of PCB's - Assembly of PCB's using automated assembly equipment - Stock control measures - Goods in support for supplier deliveries Requirements - Ability to solder to a high standard - Good eye for detail - Familiarity with associated tools, applications, and methods - A proactive and positive attitude - Ability to work on your own or as part of a team - 3 years-experience in PCB manufacturing.
