My Client, a well-respected ?GOOD? rated nursing home in the Warrington area are looking for a Unit Manager for a full-time role. You will work as part of the Care Home Management team in the capacity as Unit Lead, to provide clinical leadership and to support the registered Manager to ensure service users receive the highest quality of care. At the heart of all you do will be the assessment of the physical, psychological and social needs of all your residents ? and the implementation of the person-centered plans that meet those needs. Whether you?re planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, helping co-ordinate comprehensive daily activity plans, or building strong relationships with local regulators and social services, you?ll ensure your unit goes from strength to strength. Stringent quality control will be key too, as you ensure we?re complying with the NMC guidelines on administration of medicine, meeting safeguarding regulations and keeping records scrupulously. You?ll be equipped with a current NMC registration. A natural leader and teacher, you?ve also acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Thanks to your talent for problem solving, can-do attitude and resilient nature, you have a track record of delivering real improvements in care. Hours: 42 hours per week (Days) Salary: £19.24/h Essential requirements: * Be a qualified RGN/RMN * Previous supervisory and/or management experience * Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative ie operating and leading a shift in absence of care home Manager * Have a valid NMC pin number * Be committed and dedicated to the role. * Have experience within a Care Home or similar environment * Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application * Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Right to work in the UK Duties will include but are not limited to: * Supervise/Manage a team within nursing home. * Comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times * Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated * Take responsibility for medication administration and management * Carry out other nursing duties associated with the role including management of resident needs, audits, record keeping, wound dressings, medication administration, feeds etc. * Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices at all times * Work in line with Company policies and procedures If interested, please apply or alternatively if you do know of anyone that may be interested then do let us know.
