IR35: Outside Our Client has a requirement for a MEICA Project Commissioning Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis across UK water infrastructure projects from the Client Warrington office Role Purpose: To support the delivery of MEICA works across the full project lifecycle from outline design through to installation, commissioning and handover. The role will ensure safe, high-quality and compliant delivery of MEICA packages while working within multidisciplinary teams across a major water framework. The position requires a mix of office, remote and site-based working, supporting both design and construction phases.Job Role Responsibilities: Promote health, safety and wellbeing across all stages of design and delivery Manage MEICA packages including installation, commissioning and coordination activities Support HAZOP, HAZCON and other technical/project delivery meetings Work with engineering teams to develop construction sequences, programmes and budgetsCoordinate with design, pre-construction and delivery teams to resolve technical challenges Ensure high-quality, right-first-time delivery standards are achieved Build and maintain strong relationships with site teams, supply chain and stakeholders Monitor project performance and provide progress reporting, including mitigation planning where requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives across delivery teams and framework partners Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Proven experience delivering MEICA packages across full project lifecycle Strong commissioning, installation and handover experience within infrastructure projectsExperience managing subcontractors and MEICA package delivery Good understanding of CDM regulations, lifting operations and commissioning processes Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams Ability to produce and review commissioning test records and handover documentationSolution-focused approach with strong continuous improvement mindset Ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments Water industry / AMP framework experience (desirable) Experience working across multiple sites and teams (desirable) Engineering or Project Management qualificationCSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence Company information At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
