Apprentice Quality Inspector, Waterlooville

Position Overview Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, the Apprentice Inspector will support the Quality and Inspection team in ensuring products and processes meet required standards. This role offers hands-on training in inspection techniques, quality control, measurement tools, and industry regulations.This opportunity will be completed alongside the Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship. Key Responsibilities Assist with visual, dimensional, and functional inspections Learn to use inspection equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges) Accurately record inspection results Maintain inspection tools and work areasFollow health&safety and quality standards Participate in training and apprenticeship assessments Communicate quality concerns and support improvement activities Skills&Experience GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable with measurements and basic IT Reliable, proactive, and keen to build a career in quality/inspection Desirable Interest in engineering or manufacturingExposure to workshop or practical environments TPBN1_UKTJ
