Internal Accountant, Watford

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Internal Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help develop our ever-growing business.

Main Responsibilities

• Inputting daily transactions to Sage cloud50.
• Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
• Bank & Statement Reconciliation
• Vehicle records and maintaining fixed asset register alongside Hire Purchase registers
• Offer support to the Finance department with analysis and reconciliation as required.
• Assist with required documentation as requested for vat returns and year end accounts
• Manage contact details and ensure records are correct and up to date for customers and suppliers
• Credit control including making phone calls to customers as required.
• General office duties including emails, answering phone and filing etc
• Immediate start available
• Reporting to Director on management reporting
• Maintaining the Sage records sufficient to deal with external accountants on a frequent basis.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years experience of Sage or other computerised accounts package
• Previous experience in a busy customer based environment.
• Will be IT literate including a good level of ability to use Excel and Word
• Have customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of discretion, tact and confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Be organised and methodical
• Must drive due to remote location of site

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
