A Vacancy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This role is for a Receptionist for 1 day a week and a Patients Pathway Administrator for 4 days in the Oral Surgery and Orthodontic Department.

Please note: we are unable to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (Work Permit) for this role.

• Work 1 day a week on Reception and 4 days as a Patients Pathway Administrator in an office environment.
• Welcome patients and families into the department, check them in and book outpatient follow‑up appointments.
• Book, cancel, rearrange patient appointments and ensure clinical urgency is met.
• Prep clinics and ensure they are ready for scheduled appointments.
• Register new patients onto the system and maintain accurate patient records.
• Answer patient telephone queries and scan documents onto Cerner and PACS.
• Provide an efficient service to support Patients Pathway Administrators, Nursing Staff, Service Managers, Oral Surgery and Orthodontic Secretaries and other Trust staff.

• Enthusiastic, motivated and friendly with a flexible and professional approach.
• Highly organised individual with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential patient matters with discretion and care.
• Experience or willingness to learn administrative tasks in a clinical setting.
• Eligible to work in the UK; Sponsorship not available.
