Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Wellingborough Minimum 6-Week Contract Day Shift Umbrella or PAYE Join a leading UK bakery producing iconic bread products enjoyed by families across the nation! We're seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias) to support our engineering team at our modern siteResponsibilities - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Reactive and planned preventative maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipment Fault finding and repairs (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics) Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime Ensuring compliance with health&safety and food hygiene standards Working closely with production teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment Experience/Qualifications - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar (bakery experience advantageous) Multi-skilled with qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City&Guilds, ONC/HNC in Engineering) Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley knowledge a plus) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible, proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality Immediate availability preferred Role will be suitable for: Maintenance Engineers, Shift Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Reliability EngineersFor more information on this role, please contact Andrew Haddon on 01453 796617 or send a copy of your CV to For details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website Omega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
