Hygiene Supervisor (Food Production), Wellingborough

ECHO Personnel is recruiting an experienced Hygiene Supervisor for a well-established food production company based in Wellingborough . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Hygiene professional to join a growing business offering a permanent contract from day one within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Pay:£13.49 per hour Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the hygiene team during the shift, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed effectively and on time Ensure hygiene cleaning schedules are adhered to at all times Provide hands-on support and guidance to hygiene operatives when requiredVerify hygiene operative competency and identify training needs Manage day-to-day hygiene tasks to maintain Food Safety, GMP, and Food Integrity standards Investigate and respond to hygiene-related non-conformances in line with company procedures Support investigations into environmental and food contact swab failuresPlan and oversee cleaning of factory equipment including tins, racks, and frames Monitor hygiene consumable stock levels and escalate replenishment requirements Maintain hygiene traceability documentation for audits, customer visits, and compliance purposes Requirements: Previous experience in a Hygiene role (food production experience is not essential)Strong understanding of hygiene standards, Food Safety, and GMP principles Proven ability or strong potential to lead, motivate, and manage a team of cleaners Willingness to learn and understand food production environments and processes Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsReliable, proactive, and flexible approach to work Working Hours: Monday Friday 6:00am 3:00pm If you are interested, please apply by submitting your CV.
