As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a skilled Financial Accounts Manager to take ownership of our financial operations and help drive profitability and efficiency within our outlet.

Role Overview

As our Financial Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial processes, from daily transactions to monthly management accounts. You’ll work closely with the owner and management team to provide accurate reporting, support decision-making, and maintain full compliance with UK accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage day-to-day accounting, including sales reconciliations, supplier invoices, and banking.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support operational planning.
• Control food, beverage, and labour costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Oversee stock management, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Handle VAT, payroll, and HMRC compliance.
• Support management with financial insights to improve profitability.
• Maintain strong internal controls and streamline accounting processes.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant finance (essential).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles, VAT, and payroll.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
