IT Hardware Technician, Warminster

BLACKMORE UK is one of the UK’s leading secure IT asset disposal and technology refurbishment specialists. Our aim is to collect and process IT and electronic equipment from our vast client base with the view to refurbish and resell equipment to extend its life.

We are looking to employ an IT Hardware Technician to work within our Facility. We are keen to develop our employees’ skillsets, which can lead to career progression through the company.

Your main duties will involve:

• Electronic hardware refurbishment, including laptops and PCs.
• Hardware tear down.
• Identifying items to market for sale.
• Listing items for sale on company selling platforms.

Essential skills required:

• Understanding of IT hardware down to component level.
• Ability to test and fault find IT hardware and electronic equipment.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work accurately under pressure.
• Experience of selling on eBay.
• Photographic capability / experience.
• High level of punctuation and grammar.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative.

Desirable:

• Interest in technology.
• Background in IT hardware break/fix.
• Good communication skills.
• Work as part of a team.
• Pro-active approach.
• Pride in work and adaptable.

You will be working in a fast-moving environment so being organised and able to work on your feet throughout the day is essential.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:30.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,480.00 per year
