Site Engineer - Steel/Reinforced Concrete, NorthamptonshireThorpe Mandeville

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications
• Ensuring all engineering activities comply with quality and safety standards
• Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation
• Supporting site management with daily operations and progress reporting
• Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong background in steel reinforced concrete (RC works) – essential
• Proficient in setting out using relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)
• Solid understanding of health & safety regulations on site
• CSCS card (essential)
• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
