HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Location: Widnes Salary:£49,409 per annum + £3,000 annual bonus + excellent benefits Shifts: Monday to Friday Rotating shifts (6am3:30pm / 12:30pm10pm) No weekends We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a very well-known national fleet business based in Warrington. This is a permanent position with one of the most respected operators in the UK.This is a great opportunity if youre looking for stable shifts, no weekend work, a modern workshop, and proper career progression. Whats on offer:£49,409 basic salary £3,000 annual bonus 25 days holiday + bank holidays (33 days annual leave from day 1) Full sick pay Excellent pension schemeOvertime available Uniform&PPE provided Ongoing training and development Employee assistance programme + other great benefits Your duties will include: Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance on a mixed fleet of HGVs and trailers Planned preventative maintenance and MOT preparation Hydraulic, pneumatic, braking and electrical system repairsUse of diagnostic equipment and software Keeping accurate service and repair records What we need from you: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic Ability to use diagnostic tools and software Full UK driving licence (HGV licence is advantageous but not essential)If youre a skilled HGV Technician who takes pride in your work and wants a permanent role with a reputable company that looks after its fleet and its staff, wed love to hear from you.
