HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver– Widnes People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire . This position is ideal for candidates seeking roles as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Truck Driver .Shifts: Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working) AM starts between 05:00– 07:00 Rates of Pay: £18.00 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver will include: Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry Thorough first-day assessment and inductionCompetitive rates of pay Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver , your day-to-day duties will include: Monday to Friday working Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Completing 6–7 flatbed deliveries across the Northwest Ensuring all loads are safely and correctly strappedTaking photographs to document successful deliveries Addressing any customer concerns and reporting them promptly to your line manager Essential Skills: The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver are: A minimum of 12 months' experience as a Category C Driver Valid UK Category C driving licenceValid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 ) No major endorsements Strong customer service skills Desirable Experience: Previous flatbed HGV experience Training Provided: First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff memberIndustry-related training and ongoing support Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver , please apply today or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
