Distribution Centre Departmental Supervisor This is an ideal role for a strong team leader who is ready to step up to the next level, or an experienced Supervisor who is looking for a new challenge. You must be experienced within a large distribution centre and have strong management skills. The role of Departmental Supervisor is very challenging as we operate 24 hrs a day 5 days a week and we also have a separate weekend shift in operation Saturdays and Sundays, You will be a key team player with in the DC and will be responsible for up-to 16 staff on your shift reporting to the your Departmental Manager. You will be required to be highly motivated and prepared to go the extra mile to help all internal customers to achieve their goals. 6am - 2pm 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday (some weekend working especially during stock takes and busy periods) Experience * Minimum 2years Warehouse Team Leader/ Supervisor Experience * Licence for FLT, Counterbalance, Reach (Double Deep), VNA trucks (preferable but not essential as full In-House training can be given) * Competent with computers * Good numeracy skills * Strong communication and organisational skills * English written and oral * Ability to work under pressure and have a thorough attention to detail The Person * Punctual time keeping * Motivated * Strong management skills * Ability to make a difference * Ability to bring a team on board with ideas * Ability to make a difference when achieving targets Please call our office on the number below for further information or to apply.
