7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, 'Wigan'

We are currently looking for experienced 7.5 drivers in Wigan. Our client is the UK?s leading home delivery specialist, delivering over 15,000 products to around 7,500 homes every day. Specializing in heavy, large and bulky items, they offer unrivaled coverage six days a week for all of your favorite brands. Pay: £10 PAYE - Monday to Saturday £11 LTD - Monday to Saturday Duties included: * Delivering products using a 7.5 tonne truck as part of a 2-person delivery team * Ensuring all deliveries to the customer happens within agreed time windows * Taking responsibility for your colleagues & your own Health & Safety * Caring for all packages ? ensuring customers new goods are not damaged in any way * Being confident, organised& efficient ? making customers lives easier The Ideal candidate would have previous experience as 7.5 tonne driver within a transport environment. To be considered for this position you must hold 7.5 tonne driving licence (cat C / C1) and have valid CPC and Tacho Card. Shift Pattern: any 5 days (between Monday and Saturday). Working Hours: 6am until finish (there is usually 50 drops a day so you must be flexible as shift might be various 8 hours or 12 hours) You will require to unload the truck and take the order to customer house.
