Plumbing Lecturer, 'Wigan'

If so then we want to hear from you! Choice Teachers are helping a college in Wigan who are seeking a highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable plumbing lecturer to join the construction team. We are looking for candidates that have vast industry experience within the plumbing, heating and gas sector to help deliver outstanding teaching and learning on plumbing courses. The Department is growing and has current provision, from level 1 to Level 3 advanced technical qualification and Apprenticeships courses including the new standards. Candidates are expected be able to teach these levels, including Health and Safety, Hot and Cold Water, Sanitation, Central Heating, Plumbing Science and to hold a Level 3 qualification. The department has a successful gas centre for internal apprentices and external candidates to successfully gain their gas qualification. Teaching experience is desirable, but we are looking for someone with the confidence to share their experience and knowledge with our students - we would provide support for gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.
