Cover Supervisor, Wigan

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school that is keen to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a full-time basis to supervise whole classes, during the short-term absence of teachers. This is a temporary role with immediate work available following their return from the October half-term. (28th of October) Cover Supervisor required on a full-time basis. Required to start on the schools return from the October half-term. Temporary employment with a view to permanent employment later in the year. Competitive pay rates available in line with your experience. No experience required, complete training provided. The school are seeking applications from experienced Cover Supervisors that have a wealth of experience providing classroom cover OR graduates and aspiring teachers wishing to gain experience before completing a teacher training course in the future. Cover Supervisors are given instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher and the primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to help students to learn independently.  To be considered you will: Have a proven track record of supporting classes. Be educated to degree level and be an aspiring teacher of the future. Be a quick learner with excellent communication skills Have the ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team when necessary. Be an outgoing individual that can engage with all types of students.
