We are hiring2 x permanent part-time roles (21 hrs/week)

Working for Care4CE, who are the adult provider service for Cheshire East Council, you will be part of a team providing24-hour person-centred supportat Wilmslow Supported Living network in Handforth. You will support people with daily living, medication, health support and community engagement, always with dignity, respect, and person-centred care.

Experience is welcome but it is not required as a full induction will be given, along with all necessary training and support.

21 hours per week |£13.26-£13.47/hr + Enhanced Pay

About you

You will have:
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and alternating weekends. (Shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-10pm)
  • Commitment to learning and development.
  • Valid licence to drive fleet vehicle for tenant support across the borough.

Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Social Care
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, safer handling, and first aid.

  • £13.26/hr, rising to£13.47/hr

The role of Care and Support worker will include:
  • Provide person‑centred care and support.
  • Support with personal care, including washing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
  • Assist tenants with everyday household tasks such as cleaning, food shopping, meal preparation, and managing finances.
  • Support with medication and accessing community services, including GP and hospital appointments.
  • Keep clear and accurate care records.
  • Support care planning and act as a key worker when required.
  • Help tenants stay connected with family, friends, and their local community.
  • Carry out domestic tasks and follow health and safety requirements.
  • Encourage independence and support participation in social activities.
